Perfect for puppies or dogs that need more stimulation, exposure, or obedience.
Day training also addresses common behavior issues such as reactivity or lack of manners. For intense behavior issues, or dogs with a bite history please contact me about doing a focused board and train first.

Drop off between 7-9am - Pickup between 4-6pm (This can be flexible, please ask)
Offered at a private residence in Vancouver - 9101 NE 119th St. Vancouver, WA 98662. Please do not disturb residents unless you have an appointment.
Each dog will participate in several one-on-one training sessions with a trainer throughout the day. These sessions cover basic obedience such as sit, down, recall, and leave it. In between these sessions the dogs will have structured leash walks around the 3.5 acre property to practice leash manners, build environmental confidence, and practice recall on a long-line. They may also be trained to walk on the treadmill, practice “place” on a bed while other dogs work. Once the basics are completed and they are adjusted to me, we often go on field trips to pet-friendly stores, or parks to practice their obedience and manners in public.
The goal of this program is to send home not only a tired dog like many day care programs but also a dog who’s been working to eliminate bad habits while picking up new life skills throughout their day.
Please do not book a bath/nails on the first or second day. It will set our relationship off to a poor start!
FAQ:
What age do you accept puppies?
Generally, I recommend waiting until puppy series is complete (usually 16 weeks). I strive to keep a clean environment, but there’s no way to keep it 100% sterile. I will absolutely and encourage exceptions for herding, guarding or terrier breeds because they are prone to reactivity and/or fear issues. 3-14 weeks is a critical socialization period for puppies. In my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons. You must be aware of the risks and sign a waiver.
Why should I bring my dog to day training?
To address any behavior issues or concerns you are having. Even if your dog doesn’t have any behavior issues, dog’s thrive on structure and still benefit from extra mental and physical stimulation. I will teach you how to communicate with your dog better!
What’s included in the initial day train day for $90
I start a Google Drive folder for your dog and upload some instructional videos that I took with your dog. I always include advice and/or homework for any problem/s you are having. The initial day train also includes any new tools (collars or leashes) I will be recommending.
What do I need to bring?
Whatever you are using to currently walk your dog.
What do I need to do to prepare?
I prefer dog’s to be hungry and more willing to take treats all day. So please skip breakfast.
